Prayer Request

Please pray for my grandfather! He had a stroke yesterday and isn't doing well. He is very disoriented and not moving alot. He knows who we are (praise the Lord)! When I went in to see him, he said, "hey babe," which is what he calls me! When I took Connor, he said, "hey man!" If we ask simple yes or no questions, he can usually answer, but if we ask more complex questions, he gets confused. He can't tell us his name, the month or where he is. He seems to be hurting, but when we ask, he says no. When we ask where he's hurting, he can't answer. His vocabulary at this point pretty much consists only of "yes, no and okay." He has also been unable to eat or drink anything for over 24 hours. We've been told it takes several days to really begin recovering from a stroke. The staff at the hospital were stunned to know that he went from being very active to very frail in a matter of minutes. Right now they are saying he may recover and may not. We are praying for the best and ask each of you to say a special prayer for us!
